Day 46 of quarantine...
Another sleepless night! I’m finding it so impossible to sleep through the whole night I just keep waking up constantly.
Sunday, my favourite day of the week. Hopefully churches will open up again soon. I think it’s so important that people have a place to go to pray and reflect and feel close to God.
This morning I rolled out of bed early, chucked my bedding in the wash and went for a run. I only ran 1 mile but I still fell like that’s an achievement.
When I got home I decided that I would make some bacon, eggs and potato waffles. So I put the oven on to preheat, and went to put my bedding in the tumble dryer. As I came back into the kitchen, the power went. We ended up have a 2 hour power cut.
So for lunch instead I just had a bacon sandwich and a cup of tea. We’re lucky as we have a gas stove so was still able to cook my bacon and heat a pan of water for my tea. As we have a gas fire in the living room I was still able to stay warm as well.
After lunch I tidied, dusted my room and cleaned my windows. Just as I finished the power came back on so I was able to finish drying my bedding and gave my room a quick hoover.
I love Sundays because I always go to bed with a nice tidy room and clean bedding what could be better?
Once I finished my room I had a quick bath before dinner, then got all cosy on the sofa in my Pjs in front of the fire with my dinner, bolognese tonight. And watched Madagascar on the telly.
Me and Sarah sat down and filled in our bullet journals, and got organised for this week.
And now it’s time for bed.
