Day 35 of quarantine...
Happy Birthday Mum!
Today’s a special day as it’s mum’s birthday. Last night me, Tim and Sarah stayed up late to put up a banner and some balloons to try and make it a little bit special for her seeing as were stuck in quarantine still.
So this morning I was up early! (Anything before 10am is now early). Main reason for this was to see mum and wish her a happy birthday before she went to work. Also meant I could partake in another one of my aunties yoga classes, as I enjoyed it so much last night. Sarah came and joined me as well and she loved it.
After yoga I went for a little walk, it was pouring it down with rain and I got soaked. But I really wanted to go out so I braved the rain. I only went down the road to Tesco, got a drink and walked back again so I wasn’t out very long.
When I got home me and Sarah made mum a birthday cake. We made a lovely triple chocolate cake... however it fell apart, and looked dreadful. But it still tasted really good.
AT 2pm I went to meet mum from work when she finished to help her do the shopping and mainly to help her carry it all home.
Matt’s car broke down on his way home from work... again. So me and Aaron had to drive all the way to Margate to pick up a part for the car so dad could fix it. It’s all done now took dad all of 10 minuets to fix it.
I cooked dinner tonight as it was mums birthday. We had a Chinese, we brought lots of the little ready meals all from the supermarket and had a nice spread just like a normal Chinese was lovely.
